The Purpose Project
A 10-month transitional living curriculum that walks youth step by step from foster care into independent adulthood.
Turning 21 shouldn't mean facing the world alone
Month by month, independence goes from a scary unknown to something they're ready for.
The Purpose Project is Foster Friends' 10-month transitional living program, built for youth aging out of foster care. Participants build the real-world skills that matter: budgeting, meal prep, transportation, job readiness, stress management, and work/life balance, with a dedicated Navigator walking alongside them the entire way.
The program culminates in a Graduation into Independence ceremony: a celebration of everything a young person has built, and proof they didn't have to build it alone.

Foster Friends LLC is a licensed Certified Provider Agency (CPA) in Alabama. There is no cost to the youth or foster families; we work directly with the referring county.
Mother & Infant Program
Placement and parenting support for teen mothers and their infants, pairing life-skills coaching with monthly parenting classes and continued mental health care.
